3-year-old boy lost in NC woods tells his family he ‘hung out with a bear for 2 days: BEAR = BIGFOOT
Just a few days ago a missing boy has been found having survived 2 days in the woods of North Carolina with no food or water. He told officers and his family that he was protected by his best friend, a "bear".
While hundreds of people searched frantically in cold and rainy weather to find him - his protector may not have been a bear at all, but a Bigfoot or Sasquatch.
“He said he hung out with a bear for two days,” she posted. “God sent him a friend to keep him safe. God is (a) good God. Miracles do happen.”
Casey Lynn Hathaway was found alive just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday, bringing an emergency two-day search for the missing toddler to a close. Rescue workers were following up on a tip about a crying child when they discovered Casey about 40 or 50 yards into a wooded area, tangled up in some brush and calling out for his mother.
The boy had been missing since Tuesday, when he didn’t come inside with the other children he’d been playing with at his grandmothers house in Enrul, located about 100 miles southeast of Raleigh.
“This little one was lost in the woods for days in the freezing temperatures, rain, dark nights and wind,” the fundraising campaign reads. “He told us that his best friend the bear was with him to keep him safe. Thanks to God’s mercy he came home to us alive and well.”
The toddler told a similar tale to law enforcement, who are still unsure how Casey remained mostly healthy in the woods for two day without food or water.
“He didn’t say how he was able to survive and all that,” Craven County Sheriff Chip Hughes told WCTI. “He did say he had a friend in the woods that was a bear that was with him.”
Doctors at Carolina East Medical Center spent Thursday night examining Casey, who was left mostly uninjured from his time in the woods aside from a few scrapes and bruises.
